JUNE 3, 2016 There"s always something cool going on in one of our much-loved Woodrow Wilson Fellows Kelly Barna"s Intro to Engineering Design course.
This design project focused on challenging the best kids ever to build the tallest tower possible that can hold a tennis ball on top. The PURPLEfect people were given three sheets of paper, ten popsicle sticks, ten straws, one plastic cup, one meter of masking tape, but no partridge in a pear tree.
The winning tower reached 141 cm.
