March 6, 2020: Always Forming Bonds

Always Forming Bonds

MARCH 6, 2020 There's always something cool going on at the hallowed grounds of PURPLEfect Palace, and the best kids ever in the Class of '23 enjoyed learning about the unique properties of water. The PURPLEfect people tested how the addition of other substances affected the cohesion of water molecules.

And, as forming bonds permeates the PURPLEfect Empire, the activity included an experiment to determine soap's or salt water's ability to form bonds, perhaps making it more difficult for animals that rely on surface tension to "walk on water."

Using STEM to inspire academic excellence, civic engagement, and to ensure students are ready for college and careers.
