Nov. 1, 2019: An American Hero Returns

An American Hero Visits Again

NOV. 1, 2019  Living legend Ruby Bridges, the first African American student to integrate a school in the South, returned to the sacred terra of PURPLEfect Parc this week.

Ruby, long-time friend of the PURPLEfect Empire, inspired the little ones in grade six with her story of courage and justice. The best kids ever were spellbound as she detailed her first day of school, greeted by angry mobs and hate speech.

She motivated Purple Lightning with words of love and friendship, and delineated steps to take to rise above when others go low.

Ruby will visit the hallowed grounds of PURPLEfect Palace in the winter and will once again be the keynote speaker at Commencement in June.
Using STEM to inspire academic excellence, civic engagement, and to ensure students are ready for college and careers.
